Management of the Championship
The tournament is organized by the Georgian Domino Federation.
Final Stage Conditions, Application, Participant Registration, Date, Time and Venue
The final stage will be held at Mushtaidi Park in Tbilisi on September 12-13 and 19-20 of the current year (4 playing days).
The final stage will be attended by the winning, prize-winning, and quarter-finalist pairs from the qualifying stage. The total number of participants will be 64 pairs.
The 64 pairs will be divided into 16 groups of four, where the four pairs in each group will play against each other in a round-robin system. The pairs finishing in 1st and 2nd place will advance to the play-offs, to the Round of 16, where, according to the bracket, the first-place teams from each group will face the second-place teams from another group.
In the group stage and play-offs, matches will be played up to 355 points, best of three wins. The shutout rule does not apply. Each match win equals one point; in a 2-0 result, the winning pair will receive 2 points and the losing pair 0 points; in a 2-1 result, the winning pair will receive 2 points and the losing pair 1 point.
If two or more pairs in a group have accumulated an equal number of points, the winner will be determined according to the priority principles of the FIDE rules.

Pairs advancing to the final stage must bring a valid identity document. Each participating pair is entitled to have one reserve player, who must be registered on the G.D.F. website no later than September 10.
The name of the team advancing to the final stage will consist of the team captain's surname and the district (region).
Officiating and Disciplinary Sanctions
The championship will be officiated by referees appointed by the Georgian Domino Federation, who will supervise each match.
Only participants and referees are permitted at the playing table. The presence of unauthorized persons in the playing area is prohibited.
Games will be conducted according to the principles of fair play, based on respect for the opponent, referee, and the game of dominoes. Players must strictly observe playing discipline.
In the event of a violation of playing discipline, the participant will receive a verbal warning; in case of a repeated violation, a yellow card will be issued. A second yellow card will result in a red card and a loss being awarded. In the event of a black card, the pair will be eliminated from the competition.
Awards
The winning pair of the final stage will be awarded a trophy, medals, diplomas, and a cash prize.
The prize-winning pairs participating in the play-offs will be awarded medals, diplomas, and cash prizes.

Dominoes were named in the eighteenth century in Italy for a game that came from Latin America, quickly spread to Europe, and gained great love and popularity among the broad masses of the population. The word dominus is a word taken from the Italian language and means dominant or master. Unlike other gambling games, dominoes were allowed in Catholic monasteries, where, as a rule, any activity began with “praise to the Lord,” Domino Gracies – these words were uttered by the master, who laid the first stone (stake) and started the game. The game of dominoes was introduced in Georgia at the beginning of the twentieth century and is still very popular. In the 1920s, dominoes were associated with social gatherings where people gathered to play. There is a World Domino Championship, in which the world's strongest players participate. The first championship was held in Havana in 2003. Former President of the International Olympic Committee Juan Antonio Samaranch was elected Honorary President of the Organizing Committee. The Cuban duet won. 168 duets from 17 countries, or 336 athletes, participated in the championship. The number of participants in subsequent championships increased significantly.

Ø Participating pairs must register on the official website of the Georgian Domino Federation GDF.GE. After which they will be assigned a registration number. The pair with the assigned number becomes a participant in the championship.
Ø One of the players from the pair (team captain) must be registered in the specified district, the second player, if not registered in the specified district and registered in another region, participates only in the championship of the specified district. One player does not have the right to register a second time.
Ø The championship will be held in two stages: qualifying and final stages. The qualifying stages will be held in Tbilisi districts in 2026 (June-September), the exact date of the event will be announced to the participants after registration, 10 days before the start of the competition. The winning and prize-winning pairs, semi-finalists, will receive a ticket to the final stage. The final stage will be held in Mushtaidi Garden in 2026 (September-October). The exact date will be announced to the participants of the final stage additionally.
Ø The age of the participant is defined as any citizen over 18 years of age residing in Tbilisi.
